I am now working on my third strip, "Daley Catch," about the Daley family who run a generations old family commercial fishing business set in a resort fishing village centered around a nine year old boy named Peter. Can Peter break the cycle of family fishermen and follow his dreams of playing major league ball?

"Buds" was my second attempt at a strip. It received some interest from the syndicates and I even worked with Tribune Media Services to develop it. During my contract with them Tribune merged with the LA Times Syndicate and dropped a bunch of features. "Buds" was let go.

In Utero - Comic Strip #1

In Utero - Comic Strip #2

I got this idea for a comic strip when my daughter was in utero. Wondering if I could communicate with her got me thinking, "What if, between lives, we as souls hung out in paradise like summer vacation between schools? What if the vacation was ending and we had to pick our schools, majors, etc.? What if Earth was like a spiritual boot camp - only the bravest, strongest, courageous attend? And what if a soul is duped into going? What if that soul was named Eno?"

You would have a comic strip called "In Utero" that chronicles Eno's journey from paradise to Earth via the mothership. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to turn this into a graphic novella. Seems like the best format for this story.
